When you listen to a pop song from 50 years ago, you would probably say it’s so old, out-dated, non-fashionable and so on. But when I listen to a piece of music from 200 years, either by Beethoven, Schubert or any other classical composers, I wouldn’t have that feeling. People rarely hear live performances of songs that are more than a few years old, but now, the sound of Mozart are stilled played somewhere in the world everyday.

Younger generations like us listen less and less to classical music nowdays. The fortunate ones among us were forced to learn classical music at a young age and thus, had some exposures and given the opportunity to enjoy the esssense of the music. When I go to concert halls, most audience are the older generations. I hope this place can present classical music to more people and let the soul of classical music live on.
